Data Set Description: This is a subset of the Deep Sea Coral Research and Technology Program’s National Database. The data represent records of deep-sea corals recorded in images caprtured by an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) in Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary during a 2010 cruise aboard NOAA Ship McArthur II. Changes to the original dataset may have been made to conform to the National Database Schema and for quality control purposes. The data are part of the West Coast Deep-Sea Coral Initiative of NOAA’s Deep Sea Coral Research & Technology Program.
